Andra Tech Group to acquire Lucassen Precision Asia in Vietnam

Andra Tech Group has reached an agreement to acquire Lucassen Precision Asia (“LPA”), based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. LPA marks Andra Tech Group’s first acquisition in Asia and represents an important next step in the Group’s international growth strategy. By establishing a local presence in Asia, Andra Tech Group is responding to growing demand from international high-tech markets for high-quality precision mechanical solutions in the region. At the same time, joining Andra Tech Group will enable LPA to further strengthen its support for its local customers.

LPA was founded in 2012 by Thijs Lucassen and Daniel Gulikers. The company specialises in the manufacturing of high-quality precision mechanical components, with a focus on single parts, small series and high-mix production. LPA’s capabilities include CNC milling, CNC turning, grinding and wire-cut EDM. The company serves customers in industries including semiconductors, electronics and medical technology. Mai Việt Cường (Michael), who has held a management position at LPA since its foundation, will continue to lead the company as Managing Director following the acquisition.

Andra Tech Group provides access to international markets, supports LPA’s continued growth and contributes to the company’s further technological development.

Following the acquisition, Andra Tech Group will comprise 12 companies with a total of 14 manufacturing facilities. The Group specialises in the production of high-quality precision mechanical components and modules. More than 1000 technical professionals serve customers across a wide range of industries, including semiconductors, food processing, medical technology, defence and aerospace. Andra Tech Group is recognised for its extensive knowledge and expertise in machining metals and plastics. In addition to conventional machining processes, the Group uses advanced manufacturing technologies such as 3D Metal Printing and Laser Technology. Several of its companies also operate state-of-the-art cleanroom facilities.

The acquisition is in line with Andra Tech Group’s international growth strategy, supported by its majority shareholder, private equity firm Castik Capital.

Both parties have agreed not to disclose any further financial details regarding the transaction.
